Appearance

Slim and willowy, Crystal sports naturally strawberry blonde hair and a warm smile. She always wears gloves, it seems, even indoors, and most of her other clothes are pretty practical, with a tendency towards pastel tops and darker bottoms - anything from overalls to broomstick skirts. Her hair is almost always tied back in some way, even if it's just little side braids pulled back into a little crown to keep the rest of her hair down/out of her face. It has some natural curl to it, but at mid-back length, the weight of it pulls it into a looser curl structure. Her eyes' dark blue-grey color lends itself well to sparkle and the air of energy that hangs around her. She's no remarkable beauty. Just your "typical" mysterious cat-lady farm girl.

Background

Born and raised in Tribulation, Crystal grew up on Greensleeves Farm to ageing hippie parents. They were pretty loose about rules, but the ones they had were sacrosanct. As a shy, awkward kind of girl in her school years, Crystal spent a ridiculous amount of time out in nature exploring, observing wildlife, telling off people who littered or overfished the local waterways. College was a bit scattered. She spent one year as a Dance major, then switched to Agriculture, but when her mother passed away, she quit college and came back to the farm with her girlfriend, Alice. And that, as they say, was that. The two of them ran Greensleeves Farm, were married at Yule time of 2012, and were a steady source of herbal remedies, equestrian care, firewood, small crops, and hugs for any who asked right up to the SDE.
